The beds are “sealed” with another layer of wood mulch sourced from a mixture of different types trees. The result is a live compost garden, rich with renewed microfauna and microflora activity that continues improving the fertility of the earth over time. The wood mulch also improves the retention of the valuble water provided to the garden making it cost effective and environment friendly. We can plant to your needs or give you advice on how to plant in cycles that are in accordance with the Steiner technique, meaning that the varying affects of the planets, sun and moon have all been considered.
